I am a relatively slim person by nature but I have been wanting to tone up for sometime now. Being a writer, I sit at my desk anywhere from 8-12 hours per day and I was starting to have neck and back pain. Not to mention I was feeling much older than my age. After only 12 sessions (1 month) with Kyle and Serkan I feel incredibly different. I didn't weigh myself beforehand because weight loss wasn't my goal, but I can tell you that I feel MUCH stronger and healthier. I can feel my core stomach muscles when I walk and I notice that I'm sitting and standing with straight posture at work and in the car. My legs, abs and arms are feeling limber and strong again. Kyle is very patient and teaches the techniques in a different way each time so that if you don't pick up an exercise right away the first time - he tries a new method and within a few classes you have it down. Everyday is a different set of exercises so that you never get bored. Kyle is a good person and you can tell his passion is helping people to be the healthiest they can be. At 50 years old, I had pretty much given up on being healthy again. But since training with Kyle for the past year, all of that has changed. Thru his instruction and guidance, I have gained strength, flexibility, and stamina that I never thought I would ever have back No longer do I pant and wheeze when I walk, and my arthritic knees don’t hurt anymore. Never could I have imagined that I would be able to box (which I really like), use a TRX, or swing a kettle bell !!!! And as my weight has gone down (65 pound loss so far), my self-esteem has gone up by leaps and bounds. Now at 51 years of age, I am the healthiest I have been in many years, and there are just more good things to come !!! Kyle is not only my trainer, but he is a mentor and friend. After a couple trial runs with Kyle in 2008, I signed up for the 6-month boot camp plan this March (2010), and do not have any regrets. By a combination of exercise, and a serious change in my eating habits, I have so far lost 6% body fat, and am now starting to run again after a 3-5 year hiatus. I am cynical by nature and training, and initially was not sure if Kyle was one of those trainers who are just out to take your money, but it is apparent to me now that this is his passion, and he has extensive knowledge and experience in this area. Just as I am now sold on eating local and organic foods, and cannot bear to walk into a grocery store (excluding Trader Joes & Whole Foods), I now find myself re-considering my continued payments to my gym. I have been a member of a gym for the past 15 years, but have never seen any results like those I have achieved in the past 2 months from attending Redondo Beach Boot Camp. Every time I go to the gym, there are constant lines at machines, broken machines, and people socializing on the machines. For a more time-efficient and results-oriented exercise regimen, I highly recommend Redondo Beach Boot Camp. I think Kyle & Sirkan are excellent trainers, and take each workout seriously - not wasting any time getting down to business each morning. Before I was 25 years old, I never had a weight problem. As the years progressed, I soon began to have a weight problem. I went to the gym numerous times, but after a while I became unmotivated to go. After the birth of my daughter in 2008, I felt very unhappy at the way I looked. I was looking for a way to get my body into shape without doing the same boring exercises at the gym. That's when I found the Redondo Beach Boot Camp online. I decided to give it a try and signed up. At the Boot Camp, I was introduced to the TRX and kettlebells. Kyle, helped me get familiar with the exercise equipment. I was able to work on my own pace while getting an effective workout.
